A teacher signs the school up

Registration takes two minutes and issues a school code to share with students. No student data needed.

2

Students join with the code

Kids enter the school code and spin up a fun nickname — no real names, no emails, ever.

3

Play, learn, score

Every saved Competition run counts for the school. CPR knowledge checks are part of the game.

4

Win a real AED

At the end of each month, the top school on the leaderboard receives a defibrillator for their school.

Why this matters

CPR knowledge saves lives

When someone's heart stops, every minute without CPR and a defibrillator lowers their chance of survival. Kids who know what an AED is, where to find one, and that it's OK to use one grow into adults who act. The game plants those seeds the way kids learn best — by playing. Between levels, CPR learning checks gate the door to the next stage: recognising sudden cardiac arrest, the call-for-help → CPR → AED sequence, tapping out compressions at the real 100–120 beats-per-minute rhythm, where AED pads go, and standing clear while an AED does its work.

The prize is the point: a real AED on a real school campus, won by the students themselves.

For teachers

Built for classrooms

Register your school

Pick your school from the national schools list, and we issue your school code plus a printable classroom poster. Students join with the code — nothing else. Your own class leaderboard (visible only with your school code) shows every player at your school, who's played, and who hasn't had a go yet. Runs work on school or BYOD computers, tablets and other devices; a class can play in a single lesson.

For parents & guardians

Safety and privacy first

We never ask children for their real name, email address, age or birthday. Players are identified only by a school code and a nickname built from curated word reels (like BeatHero42) — free-text names aren't possible, so a nickname can never be a real name. The public leaderboard shows school names, never student names. Schools confirm parent/guardian permission before students play, and each student gets a private player code so they can keep playing as themselves if a school computer is reset. Hero names and level names come from word reels too — nothing a child types is ever shown publicly. No advertising, no tracking, no cookies — our videos only load from YouTube or Wistia if you press play. Read exactly what we collect and why in our Privacy Policy.
