The short version
- Keep The Beat Going is an Aero Healthcare brand, owned and operated by Aero Healthcare.
- It's free. Schools register, and students play under their school's supervision.
- Play fair — every winning run is checked, and cheating gets a run or a school disqualified.
- The game teaches CPR awareness. It isn't a first aid course. In an emergency, call Triple Zero (000).
1. About Keep The Beat Going
1.1Keep The Beat Going is an Aero Healthcare brand. The website at keepthebeatgoing.com, the Keep The Beat Going game and the campaign (together, Keep The Beat Going) are owned and operated by Aero Healthcare AU Pty Ltd (ABN 76 614 308 146) of 2 Cameron Drive, Armidale NSW 2350, Australia (Aero Healthcare, we, us, our).
1.2These terms apply to everyone who uses Keep The Beat Going — schools, teachers, students, AED owners and visitors. By using it, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
1.3Schools take part on behalf of their students, and students use Keep The Beat Going under the supervision of their school and with any permission their school and parent or guardian require. A teacher who registers a school confirms that they're authorised to register it and to accept these terms for the school.
1.4Sections 6 and 7 contain extra terms for the monthly school competition and the AED registration and nomination draw.
2. Learning CPR — important
2.1Keep The Beat Going teaches CPR awareness through play. It is not a first aid or CPR course, it isn't a substitute for accredited training, and it doesn't qualify anyone in first aid or CPR.
2.2The CPR information in the game is general information only. In an emergency, call Triple Zero (000) and follow the operator's instructions.
3. Using Keep The Beat Going
3.1Keep The Beat Going is free to use. You don't need to buy anything to play or for a school to enter the monthly competition.
3.2You must not:
- cheat, or try to get a score you didn't earn by playing the game normally — including by using bots, scripts or automation, changing the game's files, tampering with what's sent to our servers, exploiting bugs, or copying or replaying someone else's run;
- try to get into parts of Keep The Beat Going, or other schools' or players' accounts, that you're not allowed to use;
- interfere with the security or running of the website, our servers or other people's use of them;
- use Keep The Beat Going to harass or upset anyone, or for anything unlawful; or
- copy, scrape or reverse engineer the game, except as the law allows.
3.3If you find a bug or a security problem, please tell us at keepthebeat@aerohealthcare.com rather than using it.
3.4We may reject a score, remove a player, a level or a score, or suspend, hide or remove a school, if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, or where it's needed to keep Keep The Beat Going safe and fair.
4. Schools, codes and players
4.1Teachers must give accurate details when registering a school. We review registrations and may approve, decline or hide a school — for example a duplicate registration, or a school we can't verify. A school waiting for approval can play, but isn't shown on the public leaderboard. Aero Healthcare reserves the right to reject any nominated school if the school hasn't been approved.
4.2Each school gets a school code, and each player gets a player code. Codes work like passwords: keep them within your school. Anyone with a school code can join as a player of that school and see its class leaderboard, and anyone with a player code can play as that player. Schools are responsible for how their codes are shared. Please tell us if a code has been shared outside the school.
4.3Nicknames, hero names and level names are built from word reels. Players must not try to use them to identify themselves or anyone else, or to say something unkind or offensive. We may remove anything that does.
4.4Schools are responsible for getting any parent or guardian permission their own policies require before students play, and for supervising students while they play at school.
5. Player-made levels
5.1Players can design levels and share them. You give Aero Healthcare a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, show, copy, adapt and share the levels and other content you create in Keep The Beat Going, to run and promote Keep The Beat Going.
5.2We may review, change or remove any player-made content at any time.
6. The monthly school competition
6.1Promoter. The competition is run by Aero Healthcare.
6.2When it runs. Keep The Beat Going is a national campaign that starts on 1 November 2026 and runs for 12 monthly rounds, until 31 October 2027. Each round is one calendar month, from November 2026 to October 2027. Rounds start and end at midnight Sydney time (AEST or AEDT), as recorded by our servers. Each round's winner is decided on the 1st of the following month; the first on 1 December 2026.
6.3Who can enter. Registered Australian schools only — schools registered with an Australian state or territory education authority — that have registered on Keep The Beat Going and been approved by us. Home schools and home-school groups can't enter.
6.4How to take part. Students of a registered school play in Competition or Challenge mode while signed in with their school's code. Practice and Just the Facts runs don't count. Saved runs — including runs continued from a later stage — count towards their school's score for the round in which they're saved.
6.5How the winner is decided. The school with the highest verified score from a single saved run in a round wins that round. If two schools have the same score, the run completed in the faster time wins. This is a competition of skill: chance plays no part in deciding the winner.
6.6Checking runs. Every saved run is checked by our systems, which replay it on our servers, and the winning runs are checked by a person before any prize is awarded. We may lower or reject a score, or disqualify a player or a school, if a run can't be verified, if it appears to involve cheating or tampering (see clause 3.2), or if a school isn't eligible. If a winning school is disqualified or isn't eligible, the next eligible school may win instead. Leaderboards shown during a round are provisional until runs are checked. Our decision is final, to the extent permitted by law.
6.7The prize. The winning school in each round receives one Mindray L1 (L1-A) fully automatic automated external defibrillator (AED), valued at $2,025 RRP, including delivery. The prize is awarded to the school, not to a student or teacher. It can't be transferred or exchanged for cash. If that model isn't available, we may substitute an AED of equal or greater value.
6.8Telling the winner. We'll contact the teacher who registered the winning school by email within 7 days after the round ends. If we can't reach the school, or it doesn't accept the prize within 30 days, the prize may go to the next eligible school.
6.9Publicity. The winning school's name may be shown on the leaderboard and announced by Aero Healthcare. By taking part, schools agree to this. Student names are never published.
6.10Changes. If circumstances beyond our reasonable control affect the competition, we may change, suspend or end it, subject to any applicable law, and will say so on the website.
7. AED registration and the nomination draw
7.1Who can enter. Every Keep The Beat Going approved AED sold through an authorised Aero Healthcare distributor during the campaign is eligible to enter. An organisation that owns an AED can enter through a representative.
7.2How to enter. Register the AED's serial number at keepthebeatgoing.com/nominate and nominate an Australian school (chosen from the national list of schools) or a community organisation with an Australian address. You can register several AEDs at once by uploading a CSV file (up to 200 at a time). Every AED in an upload nominates the same school or organisation.
7.3One entry per AED. Each AED serial number can be registered once during the promotion period, and each registered AED is one entry in the draw. Serial numbers are matched ignoring spaces, dashes and capital letters. An entry for an AED that wasn't supplied by Aero Healthcare, or whose serial number can't be verified, isn't valid.
7.4What registering means. Registering records the AED's serial number, where it's kept (if you tell us) and your details with Aero Healthcare, so we know where our AEDs are.
7.5Promotion period and draw. The promotion period starts on 1 November 2026 and ends at midnight Sydney time at the end of 31 October 2027. There's a draw each month, at midday Sydney time on the first Monday of the month, for the entries received in the previous calendar month — the same periods as the school competition's rounds (clause 6.2). The first draw, on Monday 7 December 2026, includes every entry received in November 2026. The last draw is on Monday 1 November 2027. Each draw will be made by random computer selection at 2 Cameron Drive, Armidale NSW 2350. One AED will be drawn each month.
7.6The prize. One Mindray L1 (L1-A) fully automatic AED, valued at $2,025 RRP, for the nominated school or organisation. The prize can't be transferred or exchanged for cash.
7.7Telling the winner. We'll contact the person who made the winning entry, and the nominated school or organisation, by email within 7 days after the draw. If we can't reach them, or the prize isn't accepted within 30 days, the prize will be redrawn. The nominated school or organisation's name may be announced by Aero Healthcare.
7.8NSW licence. Licence type: Trade Promotion. Licence number: TP/05363.
7.9Nominee details. If you give us details of a contact person at a school or organisation, you confirm they're happy for you to do so. We may decline a nomination if the nominee isn't eligible or doesn't want to take part.
7.10The draw is separate from the monthly school competition, and taking part in one doesn't affect the other.
8. Ownership of Keep The Beat Going
8.1Keep The Beat Going — its name, logo, game, characters, artwork, music and content — is owned by Aero Healthcare or used under licence. You may use it only to take part in Keep The Beat Going. Schools may print the posters, player cards and badges it produces for that purpose.
8.2Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of Keep The Beat Going, or of any Aero Healthcare brand, to you.
9. Availability and changes
9.1We aim to keep Keep The Beat Going running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may update, change or remove features and levels.
9.2We may update these terms. We'll post the new version on this page with a new date. A significant change won't apply to a competition round or draw that's already under way, unless the law requires it.
10. Your rights and our liability
10.1Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any right or remedy, or any guarantee, that you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't lawfully be excluded.
10.2Subject to clause 10.1 and to the extent permitted by law, Keep The Beat Going is provided as it is, and we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by events beyond our reasonable control, arising from using Keep The Beat Going or taking part in the competition or the draw.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through Keep The Beat Going, how we use it and how to contact us about it.
12. Stopping taking part
A school or player can stop taking part at any time, and can ask us to remove their information (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access under clause 3.4.
13. General
13.1These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, and you and we submit to the courts of that state and the Commonwealth of Australia.
13.2If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
