The short version
- Play one round of the special Sydney stage at the Aero Healthcare stand. The highest verified score wins a Mindray L1 AED.
- It's free, it's a competition of skill, and there's one round per person.
- We ask for your name, company and email so we can contact the winner. The screen at the stand shows only your first name and company.
- This competition is separate from the Keep The Beat Going school competition.
1. The promoter
1.1The competition is run by Aero Healthcare AU Pty Ltd (ABN 76 614 308 146) of 2 Cameron Drive, Armidale NSW 2350, Australia (Aero Healthcare, we, us).
1.2It runs at the Aero Healthcare stand at [event name], [venue], Sydney, on [date(s) and opening hours] (the event). Entries close when the event closes on its last day.
1.3It is separate from the Keep The Beat Going school competition and the AED nomination draw: event scores never count towards either, and the Keep The Beat Going Terms and Conditions apply to everything else.
2. Who can enter
2.1Attendees of the event who are 18 or over and live in Australia.
2.2Employees of Aero Healthcare and their immediate families, and anyone involved in running the competition, can't enter.
3. How to enter
3.1At the Aero Healthcare stand, give your first name, last name, company and email address, accept these terms, choose a hero, and play one round of the event stage on the stand's laptop.
3.2One round per person. Each email address can enter once. Entering again with different details, or having someone else play your round, may disqualify every entry involved.
3.3A round ends when you clear the stage or your run ends. Your score is saved automatically at the end of the round. If a technical fault stops a round, our staff may let you play it again.
4. How the winner is decided
4.1This is a competition of skill: chance plays no part in deciding the winner. The entrant with the highest verified score at the close of the event wins. If two scores are equal, the round completed in the faster time wins; if they are still equal, the round played first wins.
4.2Every round is checked by our systems, which replay it on our servers. We may reject a score or disqualify an entrant if a round can't be verified, if it appears to involve cheating or tampering, or if the entrant isn't eligible — the next highest verified score then wins. The leaderboard at the stand is provisional until rounds are checked. Our decision is final, to the extent permitted by law.
5. The prize
5.1One Mindray L1 (L1-A) fully automatic automated external defibrillator (AED), valued at $2,025 RRP, including delivery within Australia.
5.2The prize can't be transferred or exchanged for cash. If that model isn't available, we may substitute an AED of equal or greater value.
6. Telling the winner
6.1We'll contact the winner by email within 7 days after the event. If we can't reach the winner, or the prize isn't accepted within 30 days, the prize goes to the entrant with the next highest verified score.
6.2The winner's first name and company may be announced at the event and by Aero Healthcare afterwards. By entering, you agree to this.
7. Your information
7.1We use your name, company and email to run the competition, check that each person plays once, and contact the winner. The leaderboard at the stand shows only your first name and company. We don't use your details for marketing. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle and how long we keep them.
8. General
8.1If circumstances beyond our reasonable control affect the competition, we may change, suspend or end it, subject to any applicable law.
8.2Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
